Lucky liberation is a painting of two fledgeling house sparrows that had fallen down the inside of the house and were trapped behind the wall in the bathroom. Their chirps reverberated throughout the house and I will forever recognise and pick out the chirp of the sparrow among many other sounds. We used a crowbar on the freshly decorated bathroom wall to create a hole big enough for the sparrows to escape and be released back into the wild none the worse for their misadventure. A happy ending.
